When planning your kitchen lighting, it is important to ensure you have sufficiently lit work spaces. Our kitchen chart is based around creating a suitable task light level of 300 lux at a surface height of 0.75m.

Bathroom lighting is required to be slightly more intense and brighter than would be required in a living room or bedroom. Lighting arrangements in bathrooms are required to be functional without being too strong and therefore our chart is designed to create a level of 200 lux at floor level.
